Timmy and the Lost Puppy
One sunny morning, a little boy named Timmy went to play in the park. As he ran around chasing butterflies, he heard a soft “woof, woof!”
Timmy looked around and saw a tiny puppy sitting under a tree. The puppy had big, sad eyes and looked very lost.
“Are you lost, little puppy?” Timmy asked. The puppy wagged its tail as if to say, “Yes!”
Timmy decided to help. He gently picked up the puppy and looked at its collar. It said, “My name is Max. I live on Maple Street.”
Timmy smiled. “Don’t worry, Max! I’ll take you home.”
He carried Max through the neighborhood, asking people, “Do you know where Maple Street is?” A kind lady pointed the way, and Timmy hurried off.
When they reached Maple Street, Max started barking happily. He ran up to a big, red house where a little girl was standing in the yard.
“Max! You’re back!” the girl shouted, running to hug the puppy. “Thank you for bringing him home!”
Timmy felt proud. “I’m glad Max is safe!” he said.
From that day on, Timmy and Max became best friends. Every time they met at the park, Max would wag his tail and give Timmy a happy bark.
The End.
