The Brave Little Squirrel
Once upon a time, in a big, green forest, there lived a tiny squirrel named Sammy. Sammy had soft, fluffy fur and a long, bushy tail. But Sammy wasn’t like other squirrels. While his friends loved climbing trees and jumping from branch to branch, Sammy was scared of heights!
One sunny morning, Sammy’s best friend, Mia the bluebird, flew over to his tree. “Sammy! Come and see! There’s a beautiful tree with the sweetest nuts, right by the river!”
Sammy’s eyes lit up. He loved nuts! But then he remembered his fear of heights. “Oh no,” Sammy sighed, “I can’t climb that high.”
Mia chirped, “Don’t worry, Sammy. I’ll stay with you. Just take it one step at a time.”
With Mia’s encouragement, Sammy decided to try. He climbed slowly, his little claws gripping the bark tightly. “You’re doing great, Sammy!” Mia cheered from above.
Higher and higher Sammy went, and soon he reached the branch where the shiny, golden nuts were waiting. He grabbed one and squealed with delight. “I did it!” he cried.
Sammy felt proud and brave. From that day on, he wasn’t afraid to try new things. And every time he climbed a tree, Mia was there, cheering him on.
The forest animals celebrated Sammy’s bravery with a nut feast, and Sammy learned that sometimes, the hardest things lead to the sweetest rewards.
